I have learnt to pace myself and keep on running Have you done cross country? Do you pace yourself?
I got 4th place in years 6 girls the years 5 and 6 had to do 4 laps. We did it around school and up in the fort. The fort is at the back of the school and it has hills and trees.
We have been learning about Kaniere and Hokitika's History. We had to make a poster then it got printed out and we got some Velcro and we had to cut the edge of it and Mr A got Renny, Lucy, Cooper, Elizabeth and me to put them on the wall.It was fun because you can find our one pictures and make the poster. Do you no what the history of where you are from. We have been learning about the war at first we were watching a lot of videos then we reed Anzac and then we write our own letter from Gallipoli we write it on our Chromebook then when we were finished we got paper and tea we put the tea on the paper when the paper was dry we write what was on our chrome book on the paper. Do you now about the war?
This week we had athletics at the high school this year I Pushed myself to do 1000 m then after we did athletics we walked to the beach to clean up by the time we walked the beach and picked most of the rubbish. Our parents were there to pick us up at the end of the day. If you do wall you mite go to districts athletics I made it to districts I made it in for shot put long jump high jump 80 m 50 m and 1000 m.
This year we have been doing Cactus life skills with our tutors Pita And Pascal. We have been doing Cactus since the start of the year.Today we trust skills with my partner Theo and we would get blindfolded and they why would lead us over obstacles. Whoever was blindfolded first would get led around by their partner. Then we would swap over and get to lead the other person.
We were learning to trust each other and be supportive.
I enjoyed the part when we got lead around by our partner and finding the rocks.

Yesterday we had Cricket practice at school with two Cricket experts from Canterbury Cricket. We played a lot of games. The first game was a game when we had to run from the person who had the ball because they were in. Then we throw the ball in a group then we had to learn to bowl and hit the wickets, if you hit the wicket you can take one out. The first one to hit all the wicket won.Have you played Cricket before?
